Air Grand Canyon began public service in 1979 and on 31 October 1981, services out of Grand Canyon National Park Airport were inaugurated. The carrier now operates a fleet of around 12 aircraft, including Cessna 207s and Cessna 182s making them the second largest fixed-wing air tour operator based around the Grand Canyon.
